Everyone is invited: partners, spouses, children, friends, even if your parents cannot attend, hearing or deaf.

Note for the change of Riverside location
Move from Washington Park to 2687 Anna Street off Victoria Ave (learned of this today that Riverside Parks & Recreation require a certificate of insurance for this kind of gathering!) It will be from 11:30 to 2:30. We will have Lizard Wizard provide a hands-on journey into the fascinating world of reptiles, amphibians and more. They help children look closely and uncover the incredible variety, the beauty and the extraordinary lives of reptiles, amphibians and arthropods, and living as CODAs! A donation basket will be provided to help with this event.

Bring a blanket or chair, camera, drinks and a swimsuit if you are brave should it be a chilly day! Also, please bring potluck dishes. Last names beginning with A ~ L, bring a side dish or salad. M ~ Z, bring a main dish. Questions? tjbreindel@aol.com  Be seeing y’all at either places!

*Deaf parents are a special type of mother and father. In 1994, this organization, Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs) decided to designate one day each year for hearing children (young & old) everywhere to honor their Deaf parents: Mother, Father Deaf Day, held each year on the last Sunday in April.
