How’s Your Emergency Food Supply?

How to get ready: Keep at least a 3 day supply of shelf stable items such as energy bats, high protein snacks, canned food, and freeze dried or dehydrated meals.
Water: Reserve 2 gallons of water per person, per day, for at least 3 days. Store in a sealed and clean container in a cool/dry place.
Tools: Keep a manual can opener and hand sanitizer handy. Ensure a set of clean utensils are available and even a camping stove with fuel if desired.
Storage: Store all items in covered storage bins off the floor. Make sure they are located in an area that is cool an ddry. Rotate food items at least once a year.
