During the month of September, Kern County supported National Preparedness Month with a series of 30-second Public Service Announcements on various public safety topics, which aired extensively on all three local networks (KGET, KBAK and KERO). All of the public service announcements are available in English with ASL interpretation and Spanish language. In addition to airing on television, these public service announcements are posted to the Kern County Fire Dept website.
