With a focus on accessibility, Global Accessibility Awareness Day is celebrated every third Thursday in May. This year, it takes place on May 16.
This day spotlights digital accessibility and inclusion for persons with disabilities by raising awareness and inspiring action to make the world more inclusive and accessible, not just people with disabilities alone.
There is importance in supporting the use of accessibility of digital products like websites, mobile applications, and other online tools so everyone needs to have access to the same information, no matter what their disabilities may be.
