It is with great sadness that the Bowman Family announces the recent passing of Karen Bowman. On behalf of everyone at GLAD, we would like to offer the Bowman Family our sincerest sympathies for the loss of loved one, Karen.
Karen Bowman served as a board member for Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD) for many years and she was an invaluable asset to our organizations and was actively involved within our communities.
We are accepting donations for this memorial fund will be made to Maryland School of the Deaf.
GLAD is hosting a memorial service to celebrate the life of Karen Bowman on June 9, 2024 from 1 to 3 pm at GLAD Auditorium. There is limited room capacity so RSVP is required. Please RSVP if you plan to attend in person.
This memorial service will be live streamed to YouTube and website for those who can’t make it in person.
