A series of winter storms are expected over Riverside County through Saturday. The Emergency Management Department is working with our local partners to monitor the storms and ensure the community is safe. You can do your part by preparing now and being extra cautious during weather events. Below are a few helpful tips.
⚠️ Use caution while driving – slow down – Turn around, don’t drown
🌬 High winds may cause reduced visibility and unhealthy air. Winds can also cause trees to fall and damage power lines
⛓ Expect delays and chain requirements on mountain roads
🏠 Sandbags (limited quantities) are available from most fire stations
❄️ Temps will be below normal, with snow down to the 1000-foot level
🏫 Warm Centers can be found at: CAPRiverside.org/Warm-Centers
